Helping Adults Help Children, Understanding Children's Greif - Workshop

Grief Responses differ in Adults and Children.  Our goal is to help answer the bereavement questions of the Child Care worker who is involved in the child’s life.  Frequently, the Child Care Provider will play a vital role in the child’s ability to handle grief. Information will be offered concerning the grief responses in children and suggestions for assisting them through the tragedy.

This course will teach you:

How children process death from 0 - 24
What is the difference between boys and girls in handling grief.
Practical, immediate and long-term suggestions for what you can do to help a child who has experienced a loss such as death or divorce.

*A certificate of completion can be given to all class participants upon advance request.

Length of Training: 2 Hours

Training time can be adjusted to meet your specific needs.  60-90 minute trainings are available.
